"Rosalind's book is unique in that it offers parents an innovative approach to having that difficult and usually dreaded initial conversation with their children and making it as positive and supportive as possible. A parent contemplating a divorce would be well served by reading this valuable book."

Raoul Felder,

"Rosalind's brilliant book's non-judgmental, compassionate and no-nonsense approach will resonate with all divorcing parents – even those with the most challenging relationships. It is a critical piece of the divorce puzzle, and a must read!"

Cynthia Tiano, Esq.

"I highly recommend this as more than a book, but a tool to assist children to more successfully navigate the disorientation and maze that comes as part of divorce."

C. Paul Wanio, Ph.D., LMFT, LMHC

"This hands-on interactive storybook is a must for all parents going through a divorce. It is a step-by-step guide for appropriately including children in the process. No parent should leave their home without it!"

Sally Goldberg, PhD

"Rosalind Sedacca has invaluable information to share with divorcing parents. There is no other book a couple needs to help them with the most difficult conversation a parent can have with a child, that their parents are getting divorced. You are VERY lucky to have found my partner in the peaceful divorce movement."

Belinda Rachman, Esq

"Rosalind Sedacca has just improved the lives of countless children. I have practiced divorce law for 44 years and will attest to the importance of how children are introduced to their parents' divorce. How Do I Tell the Kids about the Divorce? gives us something simple and sound to rely upon. There is absolutely no downside to Rosalind's storybook concept. It's all good and it beats anything else that I've come across. In fact, it's great and it is definitely something that the world has needed. The book is a winner and it is also a lifesaver."

J. Richard Kulerski, Esq

"Rosalind Sedacca has made a monumental contribution to self-help resources in an area that affects the lives of millions of men, women and children. After 32 years of counseling people in various stages of uncoupling, I can testify to the urgent need of a "how to" guide for people contemplating divorce. This book offers them a "life preserver." I have already referred my patients to this material and have received great feedback. I cannot recommend this book highly enough."

Beverly Gibel, LCSW, ACSW, BCD

"Rosalind Sedacca's 'How Do I Tell the Kids about the DIVORCE?' is a much needed breakthrough in the emotional minefield that parents traverse when they prepare their children for an impending divorce. The template, storybook strategy sends sensitive, kind, loving and safe messages which every child needs as they prepare for the scary unknown. I recommend her book for everyone who has children and is contemplating divorce."

postheadericon U.S.’ largest Divorce Party in So FL March 7 will be great fun!

Prizes, surprises, mingling and more for those moving on!

Ft. Lauderdale, FL …After suffering through a nasty divorce battle, Christina Rowe was emotionally drained. When the divorce papers were finally signed, Christina felt like celebrating. She had heard about divorce parties, but never got the chance to throw herself one. When she met Rosalind Sedacca, a divorced woman who also never had a divorce party, they decided to throw the largest divorce party in the nation! And they’re inviting everyone else who is considering divorce, facing divorce or already divorced to come celebrate with them!

South Florida’s first-ever Divorce Party will be held at Christopher’s Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, March 7th. Featuring free and discounted drink specials, games, prizes, gifts and more, the party will be celebrating new beginnings for women and men who are ready to move past divorce. Guests are encouraged to invite their friends, bring their sense of humor, and have a fabulous evening totally focused on fun!

The event is being hosted by Rowe and Sedacca, who have both written books, based on their own personal experiences, with valuable messages for people facing divorce. The theme of the Divorce Party is: Laugh, let go and move on. Your new life begins now!

The Divorce Party is being sponsored by Divorce Magazine (DivorceMagazine.com) and co-sponsored by two prominent professionals who practice in South Florida. Cynthia Tiano, Esq., “The Mediator,” is the author of the new Happily Divorced! Secrets of the Win-Win Formula book and audio series (www.divorceTV.tv). Priscilla Marotta, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and director of the Center of Psychological Effectiveness (www.solutionsnottalk.com).

“Our approach is to connect with divorcing or divorced people in a light-hearted, fun way through a Divorce Party at one of the most popular night clubs in the heart of South Florida,” says Rosalind Sedacca, CCT. Rosalind is the author of How Do I Tell the Kids about the Divorce? A Create-a-Storybook Guide to Preparing Your Children – with Love! (www.howdoitellthekids.com) “By offering creative games, contests, music, free drinks, prizes and a free Goodie Bag, we’re inviting attendees to release some energy and have a great evening in a safe, supportive environment.”

“We are expecting between 400-600 people all looking to have a good time,” says Christina Rowe, author of Seven Secrets to a Successful Divorce, (www.secretsofdivorce.com). “They’re encouraged to bring their friends to the celebration – even those who are married. And who knows, some people may even end up meeting their next ex!”

With tongue-in-cheek, the ladies have planned a full roster of activities including a
“Pin the Blame on Your Ex” game, “Toss the Wedding Ring in the Toilet,” and dancing to your favorite break-up songs all night long.

However, the theme is not about bashing and revenge, the two authors insist. Quite the contrary. In addition to holding a “Worst Ex of South Florida” contest, they are also having a “Happy Divorce” contest inviting stories about split partners who are still getting along and plan on remaining friends. In fact, Sedacca and Rowe promise that attendees who actually show up with their ex will receive special prizes.

“Our books, CDs and seminars offer sound advice about a very serious subject,” notes Sedacca. “But everyone needs time to kick up their heels and laugh, especially when life is stressful.” “The Divorce Party concept is our way of encouraging people to add balance to their lives,” notes Rowe. “Laughter, especially at ourselves, is one of the healthiest things we can do.”

Several other South Florida sponsors will be supporting the event with discount coupons and products in the free Goodie Gift Bags. Plus the new management at Christopher’s Night Club will be offering “Marriage on the Rocks” drink specials, discounted Heinekens beer and a Ladies Drink Free promotion from 9:30 to 11:30! The first 200 guests will also receive a free copy of the book, Power and Wisdom, written by co-sponsor, Priscilla V. Marotta, Ph.D.

Those interested in attending the March 7th event are invited to sign the VIP Guest List at www.secretsofdivorce.com/divorceparty.html. VIP Guests will save $2 off the $10-at-the-door admission and receive updated information about the party over the next few weeks.

Christopher’s Night Club is located at 2857 East Oakland Park Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale. For more information contact Rosalind Sedacca at 561 742-3537 or Christina Rowe at 732-501-6445. To sign up for the VIP Guest Discount, visit http://www.secretsofdivorce.com/divorceparty.html.
