Divorce is starting to become the talk of the crowd nowadays. For me, I am not against it because if the couple know for a fact that their relationship is getting nowhere, it will be beneficial to both sides that they should part ways. But, if kids are involved, a little care must be taken into consideration. Like for example, giving your kids planners/organizers (like this one that I recommend from co-parenting-manager - http://4help.to/children) as it is one helpful tool to help your kids deal with the situation.

Many thanks for your perceptive comments. Yes, that is indeed the challenge all divorced parents face. It takes great maturity and tremendous focus on putting the children's best interest first to make ongoing co-parenting work for the entire family. But the rewards are so gratifying -- it's worth all the challenges to get it right!

great overall parenting article that sums up the important principles in parenting in a divorce. how hard it is to stick to those guns when the problems and feelings that caused the divorce and can continue or return can taint well intended plans and principles.
