2021 International Child-Centered Divorce Month logoFree Advice, Support & Resources for Parents Coping With Divorce Issues Available in January

By Rosalind Sedacca, CDC

It’s no surprise that more divorces are filed in January, after the holiday season, than any other month. That’s why I selected January to be recognized as International Child-Centered Divorce Month each year.

As founder of the Child-Centered Divorce Network, our goal is clear. We want to educate parents about how to prevent negative consequences for children during and after separation or divorce. We also want to alert parents about the effects of divorce on children. That includes how to safeguard their wellbeing, co-parent more effectively and avoid serious mistakes during and long after a divorce.

I’ve asked divorce attorneys, mediators, therapists, financial planners, coaches, parenting experts and other professionals around the world to participate. Each one is providing complimentary educational material for parents. This now includes ebooks, coaching services, video webinars and other valuable resources. We invite you to access these free gifts at a special website throughout January:

Participating divorce professionals want to remind parents about their responsibility to their children’s wellbeing before, during and after divorce. Our purpose is education and mistake prevention. We want to encourage respectful co-parenting, teach effective communication skills, and guide parents away from litigation and toward cooperative, amicable solutions whenever possible.

Our featured sponsor this year is Lisa Decker, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and CEO of Divorce Money Matters. She is offering her Divorce Financial Fitness Kit which includes 3 free gifts for you: 1) Smart from the Start Divorce strategic eBook 2) a checklist of “50 MUST Ask Questions BEFORE Hiring a Divorce Attorney,” and 3) “Every Document You Need to Gather Checklist” to help you make sure you get your fair share… and more.

The Child-Centered Divorce Network is offering a free video webinar on How To Successfully Co-Parent Your Kids Long After Your Divorce! It’s filled with insights about how divorce impacts children and what your kids need and expect from you.
